50-Mile High Adventure Trip

When: June 25 to July 1, 2007

This year's high adventure trip starts at Florence Lake, heads north on the John Muir Trail, and ends at Mono Hot Springs. The route, menu, and equipment needs were all planned by the participating Scouts.

The 50-mile backpacking trip must be completed in a minimum of five consecutive days with ten hours of service performed during the outing. The participants carry everything they needed with them for the entire trek without using any type of motor support.
