Tortilla Soup s

      Yields: 8 Servings

Ingredients

20 cups Water
2 cups Diced Chicken (Freeze-Dried)
1 cups Corn (Freeze-Dried)
1 cups Carrots (Dehydrated)
2 packets Tortilla Soup Mix Turtle Island (7 oz. package)
2 containers Tortilla Chips Torrengos
4 ounces Tabasco Sauce


 

Instructions

AT HOME:
Combine Chicken, Corn, and Carrots in a ziplock bag (or 2 bags if necessary)
Pack Soup Mix, Chips, and Tabasco separately.

IN CAMP:
Place Water, Chicken, Corn, and Carrots in a large pot.
Bring mixture to a boil and reduce heat to simmer, stirring occasionally.
Add Soup Mix.
Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Serve over Tortilla Chips with Tabasco Sauce sprinkled on top.
Extra Tortilla Chips can be served as a side dish.
