Outings
Troop 233 schedules at least one overnight outing per month between September and June, including the annual ski trip to Dodge Ridge.
At least one week of summer camp is planned for July or August each year. In addition, day trips and service projects are scheduled throughout the year.
For the current schedule of events, click the Schedule of Activities link on the left.
To attend an outing, each youth participant must have a signed medical consent form on file with the Troop. For each and every outing, an Emergency Phone Number form must be filled out. To obtain electronic versions of these forms, click the Forms & Documents link on the left.
To get the details for the upcoming outing, attend the meetings on Thursday nights.
Some outings require extra cost for participation, such as our annual ski trip. However, most of the outings only required the youth participants to pay for their food and bring their personal equipment. Camp fees and Troop equipment are provided by the Troop.
IMPORTANT: In order to help the Patrol Leaders plan their menus and purchase the food before the campout, we ask that each youth
participant pay for their share of the food at least two Thursdays before each outing.
Class A Uniform is Required on All Campouts.
EVERY SCOUT MUST HAVE AN EMERGENCY TELEPHONE NUMBER FORM AND A CONSENT FOR MINOR FORM SIGNED AND ON FILE BEFORE HE CAN GO.
For downloadable versions of these forms, click the Forms & Documents link on the left.
If you have any questions contact your Patrol Leader, the Senior Patrol Leader, the Scoutmaster, or the Outdoor Activities Chair.
